1. Nature of This Service
Washington Township Residents Directory is a private reference service. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections relevant to Washington Township, New Jersey. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with a government office, court, or records custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or material reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person

8. Intellectual Property
The service's original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. You may link to a page and quote a brief attributed excerpt, but may not republish entire pages or systematically copy the content.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
10. Restricting Access
We may block or limit access, without notice and at our discretion, for a user who violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Governing Law
New Jersey law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., governs access to many government records referenced by this service. The New Jersey Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023 c.266, codified at N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 et seq., applies to qualifying consumer data rights as provided by that law. Neither statute makes this private service a government custodian or changes the FCRA restrictions stated above.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
